Our products are no composites making them 100% recyclable at the end of their life-cycle.
-
Where it makes logistical sense we offer our customers a buy-back-scheme to give new life to old or damaged or discarded products.

From trash to treasure.
We made it our mission to transform plastic waste into valuable and sustainable products.
Plastic waste is a wicked problem that needs multiple perspectives and collective action to be successfully tackled.
With aesthetically pleasing designs, distinctive patterns, refined surfaces and almost endless applications, we make it our everyday mission to contribute to the development of a more sustainable and circular material economy in Austria, and inspiring others to join the mission globally.
Alone by using recycled plastic waste we lower our carbon footprint by 80% compared to the use of virgin materials.
As designers, but also producers, and consumers ourselves, we prioritize creating durable, unique, and visually appealing products, employing sustainable and climate-friendly production methods.
While we may not be perfect, we are dedicated to continuous improvement. We are committed to verifying the full life cycle and carbon footprint of our products while exploring ways to integrate post-consumer waste into our manufacturing processes.

It all started with a pizza oven. Our journey into plastic recycling began in 2018 when our co-founder Raphael, along with others, launched a branch of the open-source network Precious Plastic in Vienna.
Over the years, Precious Plastic Vienna has specialized in producing small-sized recycled panels from post-consumer PP and HDPE, becoming a go-to resource for architects and designers in Austria seeking distinctive, sustainable materials for their projects.
In 2022, we founded FANTOPLAST as a limited company to scale up and professionalize the production processes initiated with Precious Plastic Vienna. FANTOPLAST and Precious Plastic Vienna continue to collaborate closely, sharing knowledge, staff, and a commitment to open and transparent education in the complex field of plastic recycling.
